Dembling + Dembling, P.C. was retained to provide construction documents and construction administration services for the Starbucks Coffee to replace the existing café in Parker Theater. Added to the project was the renovation of the existing Box Office office and ticket windows at the north end of the café space.
Starbucks® provided the design of the café and millwork based on their corporate standards, working with the College and DDA on campus aesthetics. Once initial design development was approved, Starbucks® provided DDA with their Revit model, and DDA modified the model and documents per existing conditions and accessibility requirements, and to add the Box Office scope of work. DDA worked extensively with Starbucks® to maintain their equipment layout, standard millwork design, and BIM information for material take-offs.
The project area includes food service space, dining area, kitchen, circulation, and Box Office work area.
DDA was responsible for all millwork, windows, and finishes at the Box Office, and construction administration of the café alterations.
