Dembling + Dembling Architects, P.C. (DDA) completed this project with an international aquatic design / build company. DDA was the architect of record and responsible for architectural, interiors and consultant coordination.
This sophisticated, themed indoor aquatic park enables patrons to swim, lounge and sun themselves all four seasons. Integration of a pyramidal transparent roofing system allows both 90% UV infiltration and excellent views of the panoramic mountains.
This indoor aquatic center includes an indoor waterslide park, an arcade, multiple food service offerings, banquet facilities, retail stores, customer service center, administrative offices, plus many other amenities.
An intense, coordinated effort was required in-order to meet the schedule and the strict requirements of the local jurisdiction(s). The implementation of a fast-track design and construction process allowed the developer to break ground and stay on schedule for a winter 2005 opening.
